Prince Harry’s private immigration documents have been made public, according to conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation.
The organization claims that the US Government should release information regarding the Duke of Sussex’s US application visa, which allows him to remain in California, to determine whether or not he disclosed his prior use of drugs, and that this is the first court hearing since Donald Trump’s inauguration.
If they do not comply with US law, they must inform the immigration authorities that they have taken drugs and that they are subject to deportation. In his bestselling memoir Spare, Prince Harry detailed how he had turned to drugs as a means of dealing with his traumatized childhood, Prince Harry previously admitted to having recreationally using marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms.
Prince Harry opened up about his experiences using cocaine as a “deeply unhappy 17-year-old boy” in one passage of the 2023 book Spare. He confessed: “It wasn’t much fun, and it didn’t make me particularly happy, as it seemed to make everyone around me, but it did make me feel different, and that was the main goal. Feel. Different”.
However, Heritage, which has accused the prince of lying about his drug use in his papers or receiving special treatment from former president Joe Biden’s administration, which has allowed him to continue living out his post-palace life in Montecito, did not like this open admission.

This is in accordance with a ruling cited by Newsweek, which states that on February 5th, Judge Carl J. Nichols has now mandated that Prince Harry and Heritage lawyers meet in a federal court in Washington, DC. The right-wing think tank lost a case in September when it sued the Department for Homeland Security after a Freedom of Information request was denied, with Judge Nichols ruling that the documents should remain private.
Prior to Judge Nichols’ initial ruling, the newly reinstated President Trump had previously expressed his thoughts on the subject. In an interview with the Express US, POTUS vowed: “I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. If it were up to me, he would be alone.
President Trump was quizzed about his views on the Sussexes during a GB News interview with Nigel Farage days later. When Farage asked whether Prince Harry would be afforded any “special privileges”, President Trump asserted: “No. We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action”.
Clarifying what exactly the twice-impeached president meant by that, Mr Farage then asked: “Appropriate action? Which might mean…not staying in America”? On this point, President Trump responded: “Oh, I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just need to let me know. You would have assumed that they were well-versed in this for a while.

However, prior to the US election results, President Trump’s son Eric Trump suggested Harry’s visa would be safe because, in his view, “no one cares” about the Duke, or his “pretty unpopular” wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
Speaking to MailOnline, Eric said: “Truthfully, I don’t give a damn about Prince Harry, and I don’t think this country does either. The monarchy is a beautiful thing, and my father adored her. He added: “I don’t give a damn if he did drugs. It means nothing. My father and our entire family have a great deal of respect for the monarchy, according to my father.
In the days leading up to the January 20 inauguration, the Sussexes took aim at Meta, the firm behind social media giants such as Facebook and Instagram, after it scrapped its fact-checking programme. Harry and Meghan requested that Meta prioritize public safety and stop escalating hate speech incidents in a statement released via their official website.

The Duke and Duchess claimed in their statement that the decision “undoubtedly responded to political winds,” which one PR expert saw as a veiled reference to President Trump. Warning that the 78-year-old Republican leader could find these comments “quite incendiary”.
PR expert Nick Ede told Newsweek: “Unfortunately, there could be a repercussion from this, especially with Trump, you know, poking this ginormous bear and not expecting something back from it. Trump will consider this a battle he wants to win, and he may use it to his advantage.
Because we know Trump is not a fan of theirs, and this may have a negative impact on them, Mr. Ede continued, “This is quite incendiary in that regard.” I don’t think this is the last of this, and I don’t think it will stop”.
During the 2020 presidential election campaign, former President Biden’s differences of opinion were made clear. The Duke and Duchess were promoting “hate speech” in a video at the time of the campaign.
These statements were seen as President Biden’s endorsement, despite the absence of any specific names in the video. Later, President Trump made more outspoken accusations against the Sussexes, saying he was a “no fan” of Meghan.
