Primark’s new £16 shoes look ‘almost identical’ to £109 Mint Velvet pair

For a fraction of the price, the Primark shoes have a very similar design to the much more expensive version.

A pair of shoes from Primark are on sale that resemble a more expensive alternative. The high street retailer is known for its affordable fashion and home goods, but it may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.

The retailer’s Eyelet Ballerina Pointed Flats looks similar to a style by brand Mint Velvet, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £16, while the designer version is priced at £109 online.

A ballerina, slingback design, and pointed toe are all very similar in the flats. Both have silver-tone hardware and two buckle closures at the top.

There are some differences between the two, though. Primark’s shoes are elasticated at the back and 100% synthetic, whereas the Mint Velvet version has an adjustable slingback and are made of real leather.

The pair of pointed ballet flats with dual eyelet buckle detail are what is called for for Primark footwear. Sizes three through eight are available.

This pair of Mint Velvet pumps are made of pure leather in a versatile style that will last you the entire year, according to the Mint Velvet description. They have a pointed toe, a slingback that can be adjusted, and silver-toned buckle details, all of which are located on a flat heel.
