President Tinubu Returns To Abuja From Tanzania Trip

After leaving Tanzania, President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja.

He had left Nigeria to travel to Tanzania to take part in the Africa Heads of State Energy Summit.

The presidential aircraft touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport two days later, arriving at approximately 7:40 PM.

He was received by top government officials including the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila among others.

Tanzania’s government, the African Union, the African Development Bank Group, and the World Bank Group will host the two-day summit.

In a national statement released in Dar es Salaam, Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to achieving universal access to energy and its leadership position in the energy sector of Africa.

On the second day of the summit, he joined other heads of state to endorse the Dar es Salaam Energy Declaration, outlining a unified roadmap for Africa’s progress towards the Mission 300 objectives.

The President also reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to achieving universal access to energy and its leadership position in Africa’s energy sector in a national statement.
