Pope To Make First Public Appearance Sunday Since Hospitalisation

Pope Francis will receive a blessing and a wave from a window at Rome’s Gemelli hospital on February 14 for his first public appearance.
After being admitted with breathing problems, the 88-year-old pontiff has been suffering from pneumonia in both lungs.
After Angelus’ prayers, Pope Francis plans to wave and give blessings from Rome’s Agostino Gemelli hospital, according to The Vatican on Saturday.

The pope no longer wears an oxygen mask. His breathing has improved since a previous series of breathing attacks, and the Vatican announced on Monday that he was merely breathing on his own for a brief period.
The Vatican was publishing daily bulletins about Francis’ health for the majority of the pope’s hospital stay, including the critical stages, as a young man who had one lung removed.
