Anyawu and Okoye are both claiming the PDP’s national secretary’s office.

Currently, the PDP HQ is largely populated by police officers, along with some Anyway and Okoye supporters.

The embarked national secretary entered the building while the protest was raging, and supporters cheered him right into his office.

Right in his office, Anyawu called for prayers, before responding to a few questions from journalists.

Regarding the court judgement, Anyawu said the matter has been appealed, and is now at the Supreme Court.

When the party acknowledged Okoye as the national secretary, he claimed the briefing from the national publicity secretary was his own opinion.

Anyway lost the election for governor of Imo State, prompting the ongoing ruckus.
