Piers Morgan makes bold Donald Trump claim as presenter issues savage dig

Piers Morgan has issued his bold thoughts as Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th US president.

The presenter, 59, was speaking to Sky News following the historic events which saw Trump take up the role for a second time. After the inauguration, Piers told presenter Mark Austin: “I was very struck when I went to the Madison Square Garden rally he did for the election itself that there were no protests. His dig was met with a response by Piers who claimed he had decided to stay in his studio rather than brave the elements with thousands of others.
