The newly appointed Nigeria Super Eagles Coach, Eric Chelle, has been unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The event held at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Monday saw sports enthusiasts and practitioners, gathered to welcome the 47-year-old Franco-Malian citizen.

The NFF Executive Committee recommended Chelle’s appointment to the organization’s Technical and Development Committee last Tuesday, and Chelle’s appointment was confirmed by that committee.

The NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, expressed confidence in Chelle’s ability to lead the Super Eagles to new heights.

There have been a variety of reactions since Coach Chelle’s appointment, according to Gusau, who acknowledged on Sunday that Nigerians are very passionate about football.

The NFF appeals to Nigerians to support him because we think he has the skills necessary to succeed with the Super Eagles.

Gusau further assured Nigerians that Chelle’s success would be aided by the Federation.
