Peter Kay stops O2 show to threaten fans ‘kicking off’ that security will throw them out

On Thursday night, comedian Peter Kay threatened to yank audience members out of his performance at London’s 02 Arena. The 51-year-old comedian made fun of the criticism he faced as he once more halted his most recent show in an attempt to show off one of his fans. He was earlier earlier this year criticized for mocking a heckling audience member after she was compared to Emmerdale star Lisa Riley.
When Peter interrupted his performance to address the disgruntled fans during his performance tonight in London, he called out the noisy fan. He addressed the crowds, “Is that box it’s them in?” Do they know that? Its name is who? You monkeys are there, I guess. What will we do with you then, then? Do any of these current residents in this area resemble Lisa Riley? No, that’s fine, he joked as the crowd roared into laughter.
The audience member was then dared to jump out of their box by Peter in a joke. “Jump, go on. Check if you bounce. The two audience members then began to cheer before the crowds began to cheer them on. What will we do in this situation, he asked. This time, I’m not getting involved. Would you like to raise your hands if those gentlemen are p****ing you off, the lovely people in that area?
He made a joke that “I’m going to leave it to the security team to go there and sort it out.” You can carry on, of course, but rambunctious people are going home early, bad boys.
An audience member exclusively spoke to The Mirror and stated, “Peter waded in as the crowd was audibly kicking off due to some disagreement in the crowd.” He made fun of the idea of kicking them out before addressing his security about the situation.
However, he did make reference to it twice in the show as they repeatedly compared it to a “boot sale” at one point. Due to the drama, it appeared that the local audience wanted him to leave.
Peter claimed last month that because of their repeated disruptions, he had “no choice” but to ask security to eject two hecklers from his show. The comedian asked Manchester’s AO Arena to remove a man who had been using his Phoenix Nights anthem, “Garlic bread,” before telling them to throw out a woman who had been using his name repeatedly. Because of her resemblance to the actress, he at the time nicknamed her Lisa Riley.

Kay asserted at the time that the two people he threw out had been “rerupting from the beginning” in his statement. He explained in a statement that he attempted to ignore them after the two people complained and then asked if the noise was bothering them. “I then tried to ignore them, hoping they’d settle down,” he continued. At least 40 people raised their hands when I asked for a show of hands and they all yelled “yes.”
I had no other choice at that time, so I had to act immediately. Although I don’t understand how that’s insulted, the woman who was escorted out actually resembled Lisa Riley. In his previous 114 performances on his three-year tour, he claimed to have only kicked out one other person.
When repeated disruptions make it impossible for the comedian to continue, it’s important to take into account the experience of the audience who paid to watch a show without interruption, he continued.
Riley shared a post on her Instagram account that suggested she saw the humorous side of the situation after making headlines. Keep calm and laugh, according to Riley, who also wrote, “It’s a laugh, it’s funny”!
However, Myar Curran, 25, who was the subject of the “Lisabeth” comment, stated on Good Morning Britain that she will never watch the comedian again. She claimed, “I didn’t mean to cause any harm; I was just showing my love when he kicked someone out, which he obviously didn’t like.” She continued, “I don’t think what I said was abusive or aggressive; it wasn’t drunk and not anti-social.” We chant “we love you, we do,” as I was standing just before. His response may have been a little too outrageous.
