After ejecting audience members from a performance in Manchester, Peter Kay was forced to deal with more crowd turbulence during his most recent performance at London’s O2 Arena.

Comedian Peter Kay hit out at a heckler once again as further fan disruption at a gig on Thursday. The comic icon, 51, was performing at London’s O2 Arena when he referred back to a fan who had been thrown out of a previous show.

He had been slammed previously for comparing an audience member to Emmerdale star Lisa Riley at his Manchester gig in February. However, he poked fun at the criticism he faced once more as he was forced to halt his latest show to make an example of one of his fans. Addressing the distracting fans, the Max and Paddy star brought his performance to a halt to call out the noisy fan in question.

He inquired to the crowds, “Is that box the people in? ” Do they know that? Its name is who? You monkeys are there, I guess. What will we do with you then, then? Do any of these current residents in this area resemble Lisa Riley? No, that’s fine, he joked as the crowd roared into laughter.

The comedian then joked that a boxing fan should jump out of it. “Jump, go on. Check if you bounce.

The audience was then questioned about how obnoxious the two audience members were. What will we do about this, Peter asked as crowds erupted to apologise for their cheerleading. This time, I’m not getting involved.

If those gentlemen are p****** you off, please, the lovely people there.

He continued, “I’m going to leave it to the security team to go there and sort it out.” You can carry on, of course, but rambunctious people are going home early, bad boys.

A fan at the time said: “Peter waded in as the crowd was audibly kicking off due to some disagreement in the crowd.” He made fun of the idea of kicking them out before addressing his security about the situation.

However, he did make reference to it twice in the show as they repeatedly compared it to a “boot sale” at one point. Due to the drama, it appeared that the local audience wanted him to leave.

The most recent Peter’s show crowd drama is here. He claimed last month that because of their repeated disruptions, he had “no choice” but to ask security to eject two hecklers. The comedian asked the AO Arena staff to take down a man who had yelled “garlic bread,” which he had first come up with in Phoenix Nights, at the time.

He then instructed them to also throw out a woman who kept calling his name. Because of her resemblance to the actress, he at the time nicknamed her Lisa Riley.

Myar Curran, the woman in question, later claimed she feels humiliated and will never see the comedian again. She accused the actor of being a “bully” because of her comparison to the Mandy Dingle actress.

Speaking on ITV show, Good Morning Britain, Myar said: “I didn’t mean to cause any harm, I was just showing my love as he kicked someone out but he obviously didn’t like it.” She went on to add: “I feel like what I said was not abusive or aggressive – it wasn’t anti-social and I wasn’t drunk. I was just standing up chanting ‘we love you Peter, we do’. It’s just been a bit over the top, his reaction.”
