In his most recent OK!, former popstar Peter Andre opened up sadly. column about his parents’ deteriorating health ahead of his birthday the following month.

In spite of their ongoing health issues, father-of-five Peter has just returned from a visit to his beloved parents in Down Under. Back in 2023, the star revealed that his 88-year-old mother, Thea, has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. Thea lives in Australia with Peter’s father, Savvas, as she faces her declining health.

Despite what his beloed mother is going through, he acknowledged in his exclusive column how grateful he is. “It’s my birthday next month so I’ve naturally been thinking about life”, he says. “I’m so grateful for so many things, my family, my health, my friends. I think life is all about balance now – I love my food, including very healthy and” junk “foods, but also my exercise”.

The Mysterious Girl singer shared some highlights from a recent trip to Australia where he recently returned.

“I’m really looking forward to what the upcoming year will bring me.” I’m very blessed in so many ways. The only thing is my parents – I would give everything else up 100 fold just to have them in full health and back to their youth, but, unfortunately, life isn’t like that”.

Peter recently shared a late-night, heartbreaking post about missing his dearly beloved elderly parents in Australia.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, posted some sentimental remarks on Instagram about missing people who are close to you on Thursday night as he warned followers to pick up the phone, call someone they love, and miss a call.

Pete acknowledged how deeply he misses his parents.

Although Peter – who shares Theo, Amelia, 10, and baby girl Arabella with his wife Emily, as well as Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with his ex Katie Price – has just travelled back from his home place of Queensland, he is still missing his elderly parents after being blessed with spending time with this month.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Thea and Savvas from his most recent return home were captured on a sweet video by star. Alongside the pictures, Peter penned: “It’s late here in the uk. I’ve just finished on stage. But I just can’t stop thinking about my parents.

” I’m having a moment. Sorry. Just returned to the photos from a few weeks ago after getting off the phone with them. Give someone you love a call and let them know how much you care about them. Maybe do it tomorrow as it’s late now. “

It comes after Pete recently revealed a heartbreaking story about his mother’s health. Speaking exclusivelyin his column, he said:” Being with my mum and dad in Australia was incredible, but understandably also very emotional. I went with my brother, Michael, and we got to spend quality time with my sister as well. I find leaving them to be the hardest part. Both Mum and Dad are on the decline, unfortunately, especially my mum.

“Every moment was incredible. I appreciate everyone who sent me so many lovely messages while I was there. Even though I know it’s part of life, I can assure you it doesn’t make it any easier to deal with. I should be back there very soon to watch my upcoming film, “Jafaica,” premiere. It will be amazing.
