Pete Wicks’ emotional message to Strictly fans after ‘unthinkable’ premonition

Before tonight’s semi-final, Pete Wicks has made a passionate plea to Strictly Come Dancing fans.
The TOWIE star, 36, is odds-on favourite to leave the show tomorrow. However, he is determined to keep dancing even if he knows it’s a long shot. Taking to Instagram, sharing a snap of himself and Jowita with their head in their hands, he said: “Today is semi-finals day. It’s been 12 weeks of hard work, ups and downs… can we do the unthinkable? We would love your support tonight”.
Strictly fans have been vocal about Pete and Jowita’s continued inclusion in the sport after they were at the bottom of last week’s leaderboard.

Over the years, viewers have accused the judges unfairly of favoritism. But on Sunday, they were fuming, claiming the Beeb had a strategy to keep the reality star on the show. One person made a point of noting that Pete was given a less complicated waltz than other dance styles last Saturday. They said: “I thought this week it was very obvious. He has yet to perform a jive, Charleston, or Argentine tango, which are all incredibly difficult and quick-paced in comparison to the waltz.
Meanwhile, another thought Montell Douglas was unfairly treated after being given the boot last week, saying: “The judges (except from Craig) critiquing Montell to no end, but when it’s Pete’s turn literally saying they are going to ignore the mistakes he made. Seriously, these double standards and favouring needs to stop”.
Ahead of the semi-final, which also features Tash Ghourie, Sarah Hadland, JB Gill, Chris McCausland, Jowita took to Instagram, showering Pete with affection.
In the loved up clip posted on Instagram, the Polish ballroom star cuddles and kisses her partner, who she gushes is “cute”. Revealing more about the show tonight, the pair confirmed their two dances were both “sexy and cute” As they discussed their gruelling rehearsals, Pete looked defeated, admitting: “I’m tired, very tired. Two dances, half the time, two completely different dances. One is cute, and the other is seductive. Jowita then muses: “Which one do you like better? I think you’re cute”. Pete replies: “I mean, I don’t think I strike anyone as a cute person”.
Insisting he was “far from sexy”, Pete replied: “To be honest, I’m far from sexy, but I mean, to be fair, they are very different, but we are enjoying both of them”. He also revealed that he is eager to perform the Argentine Tango, which he had wanted to do right away while traveling with Strictly. He mused: “I didn’t think I’d ever get a chance to do it”. I’m so happy I got it because I believed I would like it and believe it to be my all-time favorite dance.
Looking lovingly at her partner, Jowita concluded:” I think you’re doing amazing. And I’m really, really looking forward to Saturday night. “
