Pamela Bach, the ex-wife of Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, tragically passed away on Wednesday.

In response to the tragic death of his ex-wife, David shared with TMZ: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time”.

Pamela had appeared on hit series Baywatch for 10 years as cafe owner Kaye Morgan. She also featured on shows such as Knight Rider, Cheers, The Fall Guy, TJ Hooker and the Young and the Restless. It was on the set of Knight Rider that Pamela met David.

Police claim that Pamela was found dead in her home after family members reported that they hadn’t heard from her and requested a welfare check. Los Angeles Police officers arrived at her $2 million home in the Hollywood Hills at around 10 pm on Wednesday, March 5.

Bach was allegedly pronounced dead on the scene as responders found her with a gun found near her body. There was no note and reports claim that she died by suicide.

Hasselhoff also told TMZ: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time”.
