After working on a show together, presenter Paddy McGuinness addressed rumors about romance with his coworker Cherry Healey.
It was announced in the summer of 2023 that Paddy, now 51, would replace Gregg Wallace on Inside the Factory. Since then, he has co-hosted the new series, Cherry, 44, who has appeared on the BBC show since it first started airing in 2015.
Prior to the start of the ninth series’ debut on Tuesday, Paddy made his debut in a Christmas special that aired last month. He made reference to the return of the program over the weekend in a message to his Instagram followers over the weekend.
The post included several images of Paddy and co-star Cherry, who both work as historian Ruth Goodman and co-host Inside the Factory. The pair were seen beside each other in selfies, as well as in a photo of them at a restaurant.
In the post’s accompanying caption, Paddy also mentioned his coworkers. Last week, he stated to his followers, “I’ve had a great time working with the entire Inside The Factory crew.” a small but capable team.
He continued: “Also I’d never met @cherryhealey before but we hit it off straight away. Absolutely love working with her, she’s an absolute diamond”! Paddy concluded: “The new series starts Tuesday 7th on BBC1 &, @bbciplayer”.
There was a rumor about a potential romance between the coworkers at the time of writing. One person reacted: “Is this a soft launch of the new Mrs”? Another asked: “Ooh I’m liking this. New lady, Paddy? You look cute together”.
However, Paddy has since addressed the rumors, which he dissented when a fan inquired, “Is this your new love?” If so, I wish you the best of luck (you two appear very cozy together). Paddy replied: “Not at all. She’s just a great person”.
Former Top Gear presenter Paddy once had a committed relationship with Christine McGuinness. In a joint statement released in July 2022, the couple, who have three children, announced the end of their 11-year union.
They later stated, “We’re going to be the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.” We’ll always be a loving family, and we’ll still live happily together in our shared home.
His ex-wife, Cherry, and Rory Allen, who she shares her two children with, divorced in 2016. After celebrating her birthday last month, she later started dating Justin Mountstephens, who is thought to still be their spouse.
