Over 30 Graves Uncovered In Popular Anambra Hotel
In Oba, Idemili South local government area of the state, the Anambra State Government has discovered 35 graves in a well-known hotel that were used for kidnapping and other crimes.
The top floor of the two-story Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites was discovered by Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, the state’s deputy governor, on the discovery of chains of graves and a shrine.
Ibezim, who was in charge of the hotel’s demolition team, noted that among other horrifying finds, including a shrine and live bullets, were also discovered in the building.
He noted that any facility or property that the governor has approved for criminal activity will be shut down as well as taken over by the state government.

Our correspondent who was present at the scene reported that many of the rooms were a complete mess and that some of the rooms had been shot.
According to him, the hotel has been demolished.
The Homeland Security Law collaborated with the demolition company.
Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Community Security, Ken Emeakyi, said the state government is not in a one-off show but is battle-ready for sustained action against crime and criminality.
