Out-Of-School Children Top Priority For Tinubu’s Govt – Minister

Minister of State for Education, Prof Suwaiba Ahmad, says the Federal Government is determined to ensure that every child is in school.

Ahmad who stated this on Channels Television’s Beam on Monday said President Bola Tinubu’s administration has made the issue of out-of-school children as its top priority.

“The issue of Almajari is a discussion that tends to get heated. For me and this administration, we have six key priority areas.

“Out-of-school children is one of those top priority areas. It is there in the renewed hop agenda in education and there are 23 deliverables there. ”

The minister listed other key priorities of the current administration to include: Quality Education, Data and Digitalization, Girl-Child Education, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medical Sciences (STEMM).
