To commemorate 30 years since the movie’s debut, the original cast of the Halloween movie Hocus PocuS has reunited.
The three Sanderson sisters’ return on Halloween is the subject of a 1993 movie, and the star cast has since reconnected. As the stars of the popular movie came to Salem, Max Dennison, Dani Dentson, Thackeray Binks, and Allison all made a comeback.
To commemorate three decades since the movie’s debut and its popularity as a Halloween staple, Thora Birch (Dani Dennison), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), Omri Katz (Max Dents), and Jason Marsden (voice of Thackery Binx) traveled to the town where the first movie is set.

The four stars have never before reunited, and fans flocked to see them. While Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy played the three Sanderson sisters, it didn’t seem to dampen the eerie atmosphere because the actors continued to draw in moviegoers.
The cast posed with fans at various locations throughout Salem as well as outside the Dennison family’s home. Speaking ahead of the reunion, Joe Manganaro, a host of Horror Squad, said: “Omri was here for the first time since he filmed the movie 30 years ago, and this year marks the four of them’s first reunion.” It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance for people to see that, and it’ll be fantastic for them to experience Salem and visit the filming locations.

The cast has previously mentioned being a part of the Hocus-Pokus set. In a memorable scene where the witches sing “I Put A Spell On You,” Vinessa previously discussed the energy on set for Entertainment Weekly. We were young actors, and we were only given a set amount of time, so I don’t recall much rehearsal, she said. When I first entered, everyone was perspiring. There was a lot of heat. The last few seconds were being practiced by everyone. There was a lot of energy. It felt alive because every character and costume was truly invested in it. I recall the actors being very interested in playing the Supremes. The song was explosive when it first started.

Whitney Peak, Hannah Waddingham, and Sam Richardson joined the cast in a sequel that was released last year after the film’s success. The three Sanderson sisters were also reintroduced. Since the first movie came out, it has become a staple of Halloween celebrations all over the world, including in Disney Parks.
