Ogun Government Warns Portable Against Assault Of Its Officials

Habeeb Okikiola, a popular rapper known as Portable, has been warned by the Ogun State government about his habit of assaulting government officials without provoking him.

Since his break-out song “Zazuu Zeh” and his arrest by the police, Portable has never shied away from controversy.

The state Planning and Development Permit Authority’s Special Adviser, Kayode Akinmade, criticized the assault by miscreants allegedly under the musician’s control in a statement released and signed by the governor’s envoy on information and strategy on Friday.

According to reports, the incident took place in the State’s Iyana-Ilogbo region.

“We are profoundly taken aback by the unpleasant and uncivil act of the Hip-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable on Wednesday, in Iyana- Ilogbo area of the State where is bar is located” the statement&nbsp, read

The actions of Portable and a number of miscreants he employed in the outrageous act against the state planning and development authority are “strange and a great disgrace to the state”

Akinmade criticized Portable and his cohorts’ most recent attack on government officials who were working in the area as it was barbaric and unacceptable, claiming that any response would be made in accordance with the existing law of the land.

He therefore reiterated the governor’s administration’s commitment to sanitize the state against all unlawful acts and foster decency across all strata, stating that the government is committed to upholding the Omoluabi ethos’ distinct values at all times.
