Noel and Liam Gallagher ‘won’t be paid for Oasis tour until it’s complete’ amid cancellation fears

According to a report, Noel and Liam Gallagher won’t be paid for their 2025 Oasis reunion tour until they have finished their shows together.

The brothers famously exploded at one another on stage in 2009, vowing never to perform together again. Fans were surprised, therefore, when brothers Liam, 52, and Noel, 57, revealed earlier this year that they had buried the hatchet and agreed to get the band back together for a lucrative 2025 world tour.

Back in August, the brothers unveiled plans for the Oasis Live ‘ 25 Tour – which is due to kick off in Cardiff, Wales, on 4 July next year and will keep the lads on the road until the climax is reached in Sydney, Australia, on 8 November 2025. The brothers will support the bands Cast, Cage the Elephant, and Richard Ashcroft on the road, taking them on 33 dates over the course of the tour’s five months.

Reports had predicted that the band’s wildly anticipated tour would bring in about $400 million, but now it’s being claimed that Liam and Noel won’t be paid until they prove their commitment and make it through the entire set list without resuming. The brothers may not be able to complete the set without some sort of explosive argument, according to speculation.

A source told The Sun: “There were no upfront earnings because, ultimately, if they fall out, it would leave everyone in limbo. Although it’s a common arrangement, it seems even more necessary given Noel and Liam’s passionate relationship.

” They have to perform to be paid. It’s straightforward and should prove to be effective in ensuring that they can tolerate one another for the duration of the shows. “The Mirror has contacted Liam, Noel, and Oasis’ representatives for comment.”

According to reports last month, “military” plans were being put in place to keep Liam and Noel as far apart as practicable, in order to increase the likelihood that the tour will start in 2025. Noel and Liam are returning and reuniting, but don’t for a minute believe that this is a tour about brotherly love, night after night, and being together 24/7 like in the past.

They will not be tied to one another’s pockets, instead acting as separate entities that work together to accomplish the gigs and promotional work. They won’t be present for much of this reunion, aside from that. Described as a “military operation”, the brothers will have separate dressing rooms and prep areas as well as their own travel itineraries, says the insider. According to some, the distance is done to reduce the likelihood that the brothers will reengage. “Any fallout would be a PR and financial nightmare”, the source added. They’ll be working together for a significant amount of time for the first time during rehearsals. The atmosphere is sure to be electric, but also a little edgy”.
