NIS Raises Alarm Over Emergence Of New Sect ‘ACHAD’ In Kaduna

The North-West region’s ACHAD life Mission International (NNI) has raised concerns about the formation of a new sect.

The new sect, which is alleged to be linked to child trafficking and child separation, has its headquarters in Kaduna State, while Yokana, its leader, resides in Jos, Plateau State.

In a circular dated January 14th, 2025, issued by the Principal Staff Officer to the Comptroller General of NIS, AA Aridegbe, alerted all state commands, directorates, zones and training institutions about the activities of the new sect.

The Service has uncovered the emergence of a new Sect known as ACHAD life Mission International, according to the circular. According to the intelligence, the Sect’s headquarter is in Kaduna, but its leader is one Mr. Yokana, lives in Jos, Plateau State. Further, it adds that the Sect promotes the restoration of African tradition and support for humanity rather than Islam or Christianity.

Further, the intelligence reveals that the Sect has been conducting searches for members both domestically and internationally and may be involved in child trafficking and separation.

“In light of the above, you are requested to stay vigilant, and report immediately any sign of the Sect, and where possible arrest and revert accordingly.
