After revealing her new blonde locks, Millie Bobbie Brown has shared her “Barbie” transformation with her followers much to her delight.
The 20-year-old actress from The Stranger Things, who became well-known as Eleven in the Netflix series, posted a number of Instagram photos that showed off her new appearance. The actress, who was just 12 when she made her debut in the original series of Stranger Things, got married last year.
Millie, 20, tied the knot last year with Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi, after he popped the question in April 2023. The pair had been dating since 2021, and had their big day in Tuscany, Italy in May 2024.
But Millie’s makeover has left her almost unrecognisable, with the star looking incredible in a black midi dress. Fans compared Millie’s stunning appearance to Pamela Anderson, Barbie, and Britney Spears in the comments section.
One follower gushed: “Jaw is on the FLOOR”, with another adding: “OMG THIS IS E V E R Y T H I N G”. A third addied: “Incredibly beautiful, your style is great Mills, you are a star, never stop shining girl, we love you! “!
After posting a number of mirror selfies in December, Millie was recently forced to apologize to trolls who criticized her appearance. The actress, who was born to British parents, shared the images, proudly showing off her engagement and wedding rings.
She shared the photos with her brand-new Louis Vuitton x Murakami bag with the caption “Me and my mini me.” However, some of her cruel followers were also criticized in the replies that included comments that were flattering her appearance.
One wrote: “U look 35 what happened?”? Another added: “MILLIE WHAT HAPPENEDDDD”, while another accused her of getting plastic surgery. In response to the unsolicited rudeness, Millie took to her Instagram Stories, simply saying: “Women grow!! Not sorry about it:)”
Millie has only just wrapped filming the television series that she founded, and it will end its fifth and final season. She acknowledged that her feelings toward the final series when she spoke to the entertainment website ComingSoon in March of last year.
Millie told the site: “We’re filming right now. And it feels good. It’s obviously our last season. We’re really looking forward to having one more happy hour together, so it’s sad. Every day we go on set we’re like, ‘ It’s the last second day, ‘ ‘ It’s the last third day! ‘”
She added: “But we’re definitely embracing it all. It’s really nice to be back with everyone and of course, the story is unbelievable”. Netflix will release the fifth season of Stranger Things this year, but the streaming service has not yet provided an exact release date.
