Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and forward, Kelechi Iheanacho took time to cool off at a beach in France on Tuesday following a gruelling campaign in the English Premier League, Completesports.com reports.
The duo were at the Saint-Tropez, a coastal town in France to relax and rest before linking up with the Super Eagles teammates in Asaba for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations preparation.
Ndidi and Iheanacho were included in the Super Eagles’ 25-man provisional list released by head coach Gernot Rohr on Tuesday, May 14.
Ndidi posted a picture of the duo on a boat on his instagram page with the word ‘LIFESTYLE’ underneath it.
The 23-year-old featured in all of Leicester City’s 38 Premier League games in the 2018/2019 season and scored twice.
Ndidi was the third Nigerian to achieve the feat after Joseph Yobo (with Everton) and Victor Moses (Wigan Athletic).
The former KRC Genk of Belgium midfielder also made 144 tackles with a 69% success to finish the season as the top tackler in the English top flight ahead of Idris Gueye and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, thereby retaining the award from last term.
Iheanacho on his part scored one goal in 30 appearances for the Foxes in the concluded 2018/19 season.
