Wilfred Ndidi is thrilled to be back on the pitch again for Leicester City following his injury setback, reports Completesports.com.
The Nigerian midfielder underwent surgery two weeks ago after copping a knee injury in training.
Ndidi who missed the Foxes’ previous three games replaced Namplays Mendy in the 34th minute of Wednesday’s 4-1 win against West Ham United at the King Power Stadium.
Harvey Barnes, Ricardo Pereira, and Ayoze Perreira were on target for Leicester City, while Mark Noble netted West Ham United’s only goal from the spot.
“Feels good to be back, slowly and steady we keep moving back to our leicester ways … love it foxes,” Ndidi tweeted.
Ndidi has made 21 league appearances for Leicester City this season and scored twice.
