NCAA Revokes Eastwind Aviation, Omni-Blu Air’s Operator Certificates

Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited and Omni-Blu Aviation’s air operator certificates were revoked by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Friday.

The NCAA stated in a post on its X handle that the move is part of efforts to “further sanitize the aviation industry.”

According to the Authority, both Eastwind Aviation and Omni-Blu Aviation are in violation of Nig. CARs on Falsification, Reproduction, or Alteration of Applications, Licences, Certificates, Logbooks, Reports, or Records”, the agency said.

“Part 1.2.1.5 (b) of Nig. Such fraud is sanctioned by CARs by revocation of the certificate.

” Consequently, their respective Air Operator Certificates OBA/AOC/12-15/002 and EAL/AOC/03-24/001 are hereby revoked. “

A helicopter operated by Eastwind Aviation slammed into the Atlantic Ocean in October. &nbsp, It was carrying eight persons with one surviving.

A few days ago, Max Air suspended its operations for three months after the firm’s aircraft crashlanded at the&nbsp, Mallam Aminu International Airport, Kano.

During the landing, the aircraft lost the landing gear, which caused the incident.

However, the airline claimed that the development was properly handled, and that both the crew and passengers were unharmed. There were no injuries.
