NAHCON Sets 2025 Hajj Fare, Southern Pilgrims To Pay N8.7m

The 2025 Hajj fare has been announced by the Nigerian National Hajj Commission.

According to a statement released by the commission on Monday, intending pilgrims from Southern states are expected to pay N8.7 million.

Those from Borno and Adamawa zones will pay N8.3 million.

According to the statement, pilgrims from the Northern region will be reimbursed N8.4 million for their travel to Saudi Arabia.

The president’s and state pilgrims’ boards were the focus of NAHCON’s extensive discussions with key stakeholders, including the NAHCON.

The statement read, “The 2025 Hajj fare for Borno and Adamawa zone’s intending pilgrims is N8.33 million. Similarly, the cost for intending pilgrims from the Southern states is N8.78 million, while pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million.

After extensive consultations to ensure inclusivity in the decision-making process, “this modest effort was achieved.”
