Molly-Mae Hague offers Tommy Fury an olive branch as he admits to ‘tough’ year after split

After revealing what he called a “tough” 2024, Tommy Fury has revealed his new year’s plan.

The boxer, 25, and Molly-Mae Hague shocked their followers when they announced they had split up last year. The duo, who share one-year-old daughter Bambi, met on Love Island five years ago and had been planning their wedding. However, they have now gone their separate ways and are co-parenting their child.

Tommy acknowledged that his daughter has been “keeping him going” throughout the difficult time in his life when he first appeared on Instagram to announce the new year. As he wrote, “This little one keeps me going every single day 2024,” he said, “You were tough and taught me a lot. I’m more than prepared to start the new year off with some self-improvement.

However, it appears that Molly-Mae gave her ex an olive branch because she liked his post. “Molly liked the post. Back together and married by Christmas”, one user claims, while another said: “Well, Molly liked it so 2025 already looking up”.

Molly-Mae and Tommy made the decision to divide their Christmas day between themselves and their daughter Bambi. In a YouTube video upload, Molly-Mae was tearful as she opened up on it being her first ever sad Christmas. Speaking to the camera, she said: “It’s been an emotional rollercoaster this Christmas, as I knew it would be, and that’s fine”.

She continued, saying that she felt “blessed” after previously saying that she felt “incredibly blessed” during the holiday season. “I’ve never really felt that way at Christmas, it’s always been a really positive time for me.” However, I believe this to be the first Christmas in history where I truly get to know what people say and how it actually makes you feel.

However, she made an effort to remain optimistic when she said, “But I’ve had better up moments than I’ve had down, and I’d really put that down to my amazing family and my amazing sister, who never really gets a shoutout enough from me.” We’re not those kinds of sisters, but I genuinely have the best sister on the planet because we don’t do Zoe and I, which is soppy.”
