Meranda Officially Assumes Office As Lagos Assembly Speaker

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda, has officially moved into the Speaker’s office at the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex.

Members of the State assembly welcomed Speaker Obasa into her new position.

For smooth assembly management and collaboration among the Honorable Members of the House, she and other House members convened a prayer session on her behalf.

The house’s Rt Hon speaker Mojisola Meranda’s leadership has adjourned today’s plenary until a later time.

Mudashiru Obasa, the former speaker, broke his silence on Saturday, saying he would continue to serve as speaker until all legal procedures were followed.
