After months of speculation, Meghan Markle’s eagerly-awaited cookery show finally hits screens in just a matter of days.

The Duchess of Sussex will invite friends and famous people to a California estate to share cooking, gardening, and hosting advice in the Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which will debut on Wednesday. Meghan is currently seen embracing Prince Harry while the eight-part series’ teaser features a clip from the show.

Harry and Meghan’s controversial docuseries Harry & Meghan has been the most popular hit so far under their multi-million dollar agreement with Netflix, which they signed almost five years ago.

Since then, they have produced a number of other documentaries, including one about the polo game and one about Harry’s Invictus Games for wounded service members. Netflix categorized With Love, Meghan as “reality TV” ahead of its release next week.

For the first time, Harry and Meghan’s Netflix offerings have been included in reality TV. It is also in the relaxing, feel-good, lifestyle, well-being, home &amp, garden genres. However, it seems as though this contradicts a resolution Sussexes made almost five years ago. The Duke and Duchess are not participating in any reality shows, according to their spokesperson at the time, in a statement released in 2020 that was a response to rumors that they would produce a reality TV show for Netflix.

This was in relation to the bombshell series, Harry &amp, Meghan, which was later billed by Netflix as a docuseries under the categories biographical documentaries, social &amp, cultural docs and US TV programmes.

Meghan’s show was revealed after her unexpectedly unexpected Instagram exit on January 1st. A promotional synopsis of the With Love, Meghan, says: “This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old.

Meghan emphasizes how simple it is to create beauty, even when the unexpected, and offers personal advice and tricks for embracing playfulness over perfection. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same. “

The 33-minute shows feature guests including chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters, as well as actresses Mindy Kaling and former Suits star Abigail Spencer. She is also recognized as one of the show’s executive producers thanks to Harry and Meghan’s support for the series.

The executive producers of Polo, which aired in December, are Harry and Meghan. The Sussexes’ first documentary since Heart of Invictus, which aired about 16 months earlier, followed a group of service members as they traveled to the 2014 Paralympic Games, a paralympic-style sporting competition for veterans and injured and ill military personnel.

It followed Live To Lead, about leaders who have dedicated themselves to social justice, in 2022, and before that, the couple’s controversial six-part Harry &amp, Meghan documentary.
