Meghan Markle was left “devastated” by rumours that her team floated the idea of a post-Prince Harry divorce book to a publisher, a source claims.

According to the obscene Vanity Fair cover story, the Duchess of Sussex’s team had a conversation with a publishing company to “gauge interest” in a tell-all book about her life if a divorce from Prince Harry were to occur, according to reports OK!

Strangely, the article claims that the book’s author was speaking about it shortly after the couple left their positions as royal workers. The author never made an offer to the publisher or any manuscript, as is made clear in the piece. In fact, the article states that Harry and Meghan are still loved-up and not headed for divorce. Fans were concerned that the pair might end their marriage as a result of the report. According to the source, “Meghan is aware that the rumors always cause her fans to worry about a split, and she doesn’t like that kind of negativity being spread.”

Meghan, 43, is becoming increasingly upset with the almost constant rumors that her marriage is in trouble, despite the book rumors not being true, according to our source.

“Meghan was devastated when she saw all of these reports about a ‘ post-divorce ‘ book coming out”, they claimed. She is aware that her statements are false, and it is only unsettling that she is constantly surrounded by this negativity. She is getting extremely sick and sluggish with the split rumors. There is a connection between her and Harry, which she reads and looks for everywhere.

The latest report – a cover story in Vanity Fair – claimed the idea was “not a general book on life after marital dissolution, or one about Meghan’s past experience”, but “might center on a post-Harry divorce”. Harry himself made light of the rumors at a major book event in New York, and of course this isn’t the first time the couple has heard or read about a potential split.

When quizzed about how he feels about the constant rumours on stage at the The New York Times ‘ 2024 DealBook Summit, Harry, 40, said, “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, ‘ What? ‘ It’s hard to keep up with, but that’s why you just sort of ignore it”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
In their Netflix documentary, “Netflix,” the couple discussed the union.

The couple shouldn’t be surprised by the claims that one of them might write about a divorce, given Harry’s reputation for producing best-selling bombshell books himself.

Harry’s autobiography, Spare, was released in January 2023, and is regarded as one of his brother Prince William’s final nail in the coffin. Its 416 pages included details of conversations – some of them very heated – between Harry and William, 42, plus some rather uncomplimentary comments about his stepmother Camilla, and Meghan’s fallouts with sister-in-law Kate.

Harry’s advance fee and subsequent hardback and paperback sales are said to have generated about $ 27 million (£21.80 million). The Sussexes received about 95% of their annual income from King Charles (then the Prince of Wales), with the rest being funded by the Sovereign Grant, which was funded by the taxpayers.

Our source claimed Meghan would never consider giving Harry or their relationship a “Sparta-like” treatment despite the prospect of earning millions from written revelations.

“In reality, they’re really happy and strong, so it’s frustrating to constantly have people saying they’re on the edge of a split”, they claimed. She would never write a book about him because she is getting tired of hearing the gossip. She simply wants people to realize how much Harry cares for her because they fall in love, and for him to be happy.

Meanwhile, the world will have to wait for a glimpse into the life of Meghan and Harry in Netflix’s big-budget series With Love, Meghan. The eight-part series was scheduled to premiere earlier this month, but the California wildfires have caused it to be postponed.

Meghan’s new show has been pushed back to March (Netflix)

The decision to turn it back came “at the request of Meghan,” according to a Netflix statement that the “heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California” would instead be broadcast on March 4. Harry and Meghan, who have children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, reportedly opened up their Montecito mansion for nearby friends who had to evacuate, and posted a list of resources and charity links on their official website, along with a plea for others to do the same.

” If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do, “it said”. Also, make sure to check in with any elderly or disabled neighbors to see if they need assistance evacuating. Some individuals and families have had nothing. Please consider donating clothing, children’s toys &amp, clothing, and other essentials. “
