Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘don’t know’ what it means to ‘change the world’

There is one claim that might hurt more than most royal courtiers, as royal courtiers are wagging their tongues over the obscene “takedown” piece from the most recent issue of Vanity Fair.
Following the cancellation of their Spotify podcast series, Archetypes, a source claimed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “don’t know what change the world means.”
A lengthy feature was published in Vanity Fair this week to commemorate the couple’s historic departure as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020. The lengthy article featured people who have worked closely with Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, amid their ‘ rebrand’, including on the Duchess ‘ cancelled Spotify podcast series.
In June 2023, it was announced that Meghan and Harry’s Archewell Audio had ended their Spotify partnership, reportedly worth £18 million. “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways, and we are proud of the series we created together,” read a statement from the time. This saw the end of their top-rated series, Archetypes, which involved Meghan interviewing high-profile celebrities, activists, and experts to “investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back”.
A source in the Vanity Fair article cited a source who claimed the royal couple “don’t know what change the world means” and referred to their Spotify podcast at the end of it. The source continued, “Diana walked amongst land mines,” making reference to Princess Diana’s royal work prior to her untimely passing in 1997. Meghan couldn’t even say the word sl*t”. Meghan and Harry “want to be people who want to change the world,” according to the insider.
Meghan wanted to make her new Archetypes successful, but the source claimed she didn’t live up to what was expected from the series. They said, “I think the whole world was waiting for her to be that person, and then she never jumped”. Meghan’s ideas for archetypes were discussed by the source, who claimed she would occasionally change her mind before the recording was made available for recording.
The Mirror has contacted Meghan and Harry’s representatives for comment.
However, a source in the article claimed that an employee was behind the idea behind their podcast Archetypes. However, it was also made clear that the individual lacked any intellectual property. Additionally, it is said that Spotify’s studio Gimlet had to be hired because Archewell Audio’s production took so long.
Harry was “challenging to engage with,” according to a former Spotify employee, and he once yelled, “why should I do this?” when the couple were interviewing for jobs. It led the employee to think, “Didn’t Spotify pay you a lot of money to do this”?
