Without her husband Prince Harry, Meghan Markle traveled alone to a glitzy gala and looked stunning.
The Duchess of Sussex happily posed for the cameras on the red carpet at the Power of Women gala hosted by Variety magazine earlier this week in Los Angeles. In the midst of rumors of her Hollywood comeback, Meghan was beaming as she revealed information about her and Harry’s upcoming projects.
Meghan stood out on the red carpet while sporting a beige and white gown and small black clutch bag. She styled her hair back into an elegant updo and added a straightforward bangle to complete her appearance.

Meghan was happy to share everything when reporters questioned her about her future plans while she was present at the event. Meghan made a joke while speaking at the gala, saying, “We have so many exciting things planned.” I’m just incredibly proud of what we’re producing, and I can’t wait to announce them.
Her remarks coincide with rumors that Netflix will pay the Sussexes a “higher payout” after they agreed to an £80 million ($100 million) five-year contract. Harry and Meghan agreed to a very lucrative contract with Netflix in 2020.
Meghan and Harry reportedly agreed to an eye-watering £80 million ($100 million) to produce documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows, and children’s programs when they signed up for a five-year contract. The Sussexes have been working on their groundbreaking six-parter Harry &, Meghan as well as Harry’s Heart of Invictus since their deal was finalized.
Additionally, they reportedly acquired the rights to Carley Fortune’s romantic novel Meet Me At The Lake, which will be turned into a movie. After securing a contract with the talent agency William Morris Endeavor, Meghan has also been moving around Hollywood.
However, according to royal expert Graydon Carter, she will avoid acting and focus on reality TV instead. Former Vanity Fair editor Graydon remarked, “She’d be a shoo-in if there were any Real Housewives of Montecito shows in the works.”
In fact, Andy Cohen, the producer of Real Housewives, predicted that Meghan would make a fantastic spin-off of the show. He was questioned about future guests for the BravoCon event when he showed up at the annual event in Las Vegas. Then Andy acknowledged that Meghan is at the top of his list and said, “That would be interesting if we could get Meghan Markle.”
