McCann in fiery face-off as Edwards promises knockout

Sean Brady and Leon Edwards exchanged an icy stare before their welterweight fight at UFC London on Saturday, promising to knock him out.
With the two fighters remaining silent throughout the face-off, Edwards weighed in at 171 pounds (12th 2 pounds), while Brady weighed one pound.
After losing his welterweight title to Belal Muhammad in July, Edwards, 33, wants to resurrect.
What’s up, London? I’m looking forward to returning. I truly believe I let him go tomorrow night because he is too predictable, Edwards said.
During fight week, Edwards and Brady have had quiet exchanges, with Brady putting much of his attention on regaining the belt.
The taller Edwards was peering down at his opponent as the pair remained silent when confronted.
Brady, 32, will face Muhammad for the belt at UFC 315 on May 10 after Jack Della Maddalena lost to Australia.
Before a fiery fight, Brazil’s Alexia Thainara and Liverpool’s Molly McCann successfully weighed in for their strawweight contest.
Thainara tried to arouse McCann by raising her arms in a cheer while McCann was calmer than some of her previous staredowns and glared coldly at her rival.
Before the pair exchanged words on stage, McCann responded by waving her hand in front of Tainara’s mouth to make it seem like Tainara had bad breath.

Edwards’ figure-analysis is more relaxed.
In comparison to his most recent fight against Muhammad, Edwards has a much more relaxed appearance.
During the week, Edwards and his team have laughed together, and he witnessed the humorous side of a fire alarm test at Thursday’s news conference.
Edwards occasionally appeared irritated as a result of his efforts to defeat Muhammad, perhaps as a result of his flipped sleep schedule, which adjusted to his 05:30 GMT start time, or as a result of his fierce rivalry with Muhammad.
Both fighters see each other as stepping stones in their quest for Muhammad’s title, which is less personal than the conflict between them.
Brady’s grappling poses the greatest threat, with Edwards, as is frequently the case.
