Mapp earns gold and silver in Para-bobsleigh events
Corie Mapp of Great Britain placed first and second in Norway’s opening two World Cup para-bobsleigh competitions.
Mapp won the first race gold in Lillehammer by placing first in both of his heats on Friday, placing him first with times of 55.59 seconds and 55.83s.
And in the second on Saturday, he recorded 55.82secs and 56.21secs as he finished with a silver behind winner Flavio Menardi, of Italy.
