Man In 90s Suspected of Killing Two In Belgium Nursing Home

According to local mayor Koenraad Degroote, a man in his 90s is suspected of murdering two elderly Belgian residents.

After the attack in Dentergem, western Belgium, another resident is battling for their life in a hospital, according to the municipality’s chief.

He claimed that all of the victims had at least 90 years of age. Degroote added that the suspected assailant was also a resident and in his 90s.

A local prosecutor’s office confirmed to AFP that a person had been detained after the deaths of two people and the hospitalization of another.
