Ella Morgan, a member of the Married At First Sight UK team, revealed on social media that she had received a secret hair transplant.
The TV personality, who briefly dated MAFS co-star JJ Slater, took to her Instagram page to share the results of the transplant with fans. As she showed the follicle scarring on her scalp in the zoomed-in selfie, she closed her eyes and yelled. She also had a bandage over her forehead.
She previously revealed scarring from a previous facial procedure that left visible marks along her hairline, which caused her to experience a lot of “insecurity.” In the new post, Ella explained: “Sorry I’ve been quiet.. I’ll return to socials soon, but it will take some time to recover and unwind. When I finish editing it, I’ve been vlogging the entire process so you can follow along.
Ella first made an open letter about her hopes for a hair transplant last year. As she explained the reason she wanted the surgery, she asked her fans for recommendations for a clinic. Hello, I have a large scar that runs along my hairline from one ear to the other since having my face removed in August 2021, and it has since healed, she said at the time.

I want to cover it up with a hair transplant because I still feel self-conscious about it when I wear my hair back. What would be great to hear from any clinics that offer the best hair transplant for women? Ella posted a throwback photo on her page at the end of last year with an emotional message.
Being transgender is not just about having a medical career or having to undergo surgery or altering your appearance, wrote Ella. “Sometimes I inspire myself, like girl, you went through all that and kept going (and always did it with a smile). “It’s discovering who you are, being brave and strong, living your life authentically, loving yourself inside and out, and spreading that love towards other people and accepting one another, no matter the difference”.
She continued to share her thoughts, with the Celebs Go Dating alumna calling for “respect” in an assertive plea. “Some people will never get it, or understand. And that’s fine. Respect, regardless of whether you receive it, is all I ask for. I am simply a girl who was born in the wrong body”, she stated. “I feel inside more than I have inside,” I said. I am and have always been a girl, but I didn’t want to be that way. #Transgender #selflove #14yearsofElla #Trans #Ella.
