Love Island’s Wes Nelson posts ripped torso snaps after admitting he ‘neglected’ health for years’
Wes Nelson, the former Love Island star, has made a noticeable difference from his earlier appearance on a music tour.
The 26-year-old reality TV star, who is now considering a career in music, gave his body a before and after photo. And this revealed the prior snap of him with a more rotund appearance, with a musical studio background and a six-pack, in comparison to him with a six-pack.
In both images Wes is half-naked. He then appeared happy and full of life in the after image, where he wore his baseball cap backward and smiled for the camera, highlighting his newly toned appearance, but he initially appeared almost depressed in the before image.
Accompanied by the image, he wrote: “Transformation for my Tour (and for myself). I’ve been quietly working on myself for a while now, I neglected my health for years, it’s affected me physically and mentally! For the first time in years I can honestly say, I feel f****** great! Tour starts in 9 days. Lets go”!
And obviously, fans wasted no time in commenting, One person said: “Drop the workout plan. Beast”. Another person added, “You look amazing bro. I’d like to use your push and drive. Keep smiling man”. Meanwhile a third said: “You put in that work”.
Wes made it to the final with reality TV star Megan Barton Hanson after making his ITV show debut in 2018. And despite their unhappy relationship, he continued to have success on shows like Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and Dancing On Ice.
After releasing his single See Nobody in 2020, which debuted at number three in the UK charts, it appears as though his passion is more toward music. He then returned to the villa to perform his track Abracadabra, alongside Craig David. And when asked to return to the show as a contestant, he claimed he refused “politely”.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Of course there was a question, but at the same time I was there to perform with a legend. I wouldn’t go back on as a contestant. I’m happy to be known as an artist and not just an Islander, you know what I mean? If it makes sense, I don’t feel like it fulfills me in the same way that I didn’t feel like I was working on my passion.
In a chat with the Mirror, Wes said: “He is an absolute legend, I can’t lie – it was a bit of a dream come true. He actually gave me a birthday present, which I’ve been sharing with everyone. But seriously, he has talent, and I look forward to producing beautiful music with him in the future.
