Things got heated between Ekin-Su and Elma on Wednesday’s Love Island All Stars, and fans are loving the return of Ekin-Su’s fiery personality.
Following a dinner at the Love Island villa, Ekin-Su and Curtis decided they needed to talk about their feelings to Elma and Sammy, as the other Islanders listened in. Ekin-Su told the couple: “I feel like ever since the heart rate challenge there’s been a weird grudge between you two and us and you haven’t let it go.” While Sammy attempted to calm things by saying “it could have gone wrong for you and it didn’t, I’m happy about that,” Ekin-Su wasn’t so easily placated.
“I’m sick of it and I’m just frustrated, I’ve been quiet for days. I’m telling you exactly how I feel, you’ve had something against me since the heart rate challenge, let it go.” Elma then responded: “Did we not sort it out the other day? You’re getting on my nerves.” The disagreement only ended when Elma walked away.

It was Ekin-Su’s actions in the heart rate challenge over a week ago that kicked off the tension between the two couples, as she kissed Sammy in an attempt to raise his heart rate – despite him being coupled up with Elma. She later took aim at Ekin-Su when she confided in Catherine Agbaje. Elma said: “Do you not think it’s mad she [Ekin-Su] kissed him [Sammy]?…it’s just weird if you’re gonna kiss one, kiss all, but you went out of your way to kiss Sammy…it made me feel weird about her.”
Ekin-Su did apologise to Elma, but the pair have remained on bad terms and viewers are delighted to see Ekin-Su fighting back last night after some claimed they thought Elma was ‘bullying’ her.

“After this argument I need Ekin in that final. I don’t care how jarring she’s been before we will NOT let Elma the bully get anywhere near that money yeah?,” wrote one. “I knew Ekin would reach a point where she would have to speak her mind, I love this,” said another. A third agreed: “I’m glad Ekin stood up for herself and said it like it was!,” while a fourth commented: “Ekin has shown genuine guilt and has apologised multiple times and has taken so much heat and embarrassment for it in multiple challenges and she accepted it. Elma is just insecure and projecting clearly.” Another simply said: “She’s back.”
There are only a few more days to go for the islanders to convince viewers they deserve to be crowned the winners of the All Stars series. Whichever couple is chosen during the final episode on Monday 17 February will win £50,000, joining last year’s winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare in the Love Island hall of fame.
Love Island: All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
