There’s another tense discussion between Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard on All Stars tonight.
Ekin-Su, 30, and Curtis, 28, were coupled-up on the ITV2 show for almost two weeks. They have reportedly suggested to the Love Island villa in South Africa that they are “closed off” after a week-long relationship. However, he has since shown an openness to meeting bombshell Danielle Sellers, 29.
The islanders were enraged by the situation, which caused some division in the viewers. Ekin-Su and Curtis appeared to be in a relationship, but on Thursday’s episode, they surprised viewers with their reconciliation. Despite this, at the end of the episode, Curtis was ‘ stolen ‘ by Danielle, who, as a new bombshell, got to choose someone to couple-up with.
Ekin-Su didn’t appear impressed and was heard saying “no comment” following Danielle’s decision. A first look at Friday night’s episode provides a glimpse of the aftermath, with Ekin-Su seen talking to Curtis whilst at the firepit.
She tells him: “I don’t want nothing to do with you anymore. I don’t want nothing to do with you. I wish you all the best with Danielle”. Curtis says in the clip: “The whole thing that Danielle’s come in has caught me off guard. It has”.
Following his remark, Ekin-Su is heard saying: “So why lie to me then, Curtis? And reassure me, say all these things… literally four hours ago, during the day. Why”? Curtis replies: “I don’t know. I can’t answer you. I felt confused”. Ekin-Su adds: “I actually thought you were better than that. It doesn’t suit you”.
ITV provided a second teaser before the episode, which appears to provide additional information about the conversation. According to some, Curtis once said to Ekin-Su, “I feel like I’ve not been a thousand percent honest with you. I didn’t anticipate someone entering the building and making things confusing, but in retrospect, I believe I should have never said “we were closed off.”
Ekin-Su tells Curtis – who previously hinted to Danielle that he shouldn’t have said he was ‘ closed off ‘ – in the villa: “I feel like everything you said was a lie”. Viewers have been divided over the situation, with some fans supporting Ekin-Su, whilst others have defended Curtis. AJ Pritchard, Curtis’ brother, suggested earlier this week that there were “red flags” in the wake of the recent drama.
Loved ones running Ekin-Su’s Instagram account issued their own message on Thursday. It read: “We’re so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown Ekin! She puts her heart into everything, which is wonderful to see how much others appreciate it. Let’s remember to keep the positivity going, there’s no place for negativity or hate toward anyone. Kink would never desire that, and showing kindness is always the best course of action! Let’s continue to lift each other up”.
All Stars airs on ITV2 and ITVX on Friday night at 9 p.m.
