Before his death, Liam Payne’s $30,000 Rolex reportedly vanished after an escort that he had with later returned to his hotel room.

The woman claimed she had forgotten her makeup and was allowed to go back to the third-floor room of the Buenos Aires hotel to retrieve it, according to respected Argentinian news website Infobae. Citing sources close to the ongoing criminal investigation, the website said: “There Payne’s Rolex watch disappeared”.

According to reports, Liam promised the woman and another female escort who arrived at the hotel for £5, 000, but they did not receive all of their money. According to Infobae, the two escorts later told prosecutors that ‘ gentleman ‘ Liam had kneeled in front of them and said, “I love you, I love you”.

He is even said to ‘ promised them ‘ his Rolex watch. However, according to reports, Liam allegedly did not turn in additional cash in the room or later in the lobby. The One Direction singer’s friend Roger Nores, who was also a former manager, is said to have arrived and made an effort to “resolve the situation.” Liam tragically fell three floors to his death from his hotel room twenty-four minutes later.

Although Liam was seen wearing the Rolex on the day of his passing, the watch, which is thought to be worth around £33,000, was missing when he fell and hasn’t been seen since.

A detective involved in the case said: “We know, from images that were analysed, that Payne was wearing a Rolex on the day of his death. He had it on one of his hands for at least two to three hours before he (died).

Since then, police have searched Liam’s hotel room and the homes of several individuals close to him from that day, including those who reside nearby two female escorts, and it has not been recovered.

Though the women, who haven’t been named by police, are said to be being treated as witnesses, rather than suspects in the case, they have now reportedly hired a lawyer.

In the hours before Liam’s death, Infobae reports the singer requested bottles of Moet &amp, Chandon Champagne, Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky and 300 dollars. According to the police, the money was intended to pay a drug dealer.

Before being carried into his room, Liam allegedly acted “erratically and smashed his laptop in the lobby.” The hotel staff reportedly called emergency services after a customer reported using “too many drugs and alcohol” and “trashing the entire room.” Liam quickly passed away shortly after.

Authorities believe Liam was “unconscious or semi-conscious” when he fell, so they have ruled out self-harm or Liam taking his own life. They came to the conclusion that the singer, who had drugs and alcohol in his system at the time of his passing, was unsure of his actions or had no idea what he was doing.

He died from multiple injuries, as well as internal and external bleeding brought on by the fall, according to a post-mortem examination. Three people, including a hotel worker, have since been charged in connection with Liam’s death on October 16.

One person is facing charges of “abandonment followed by death,” which can lead to a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, and two others are accused of supplying drugs. Last week, a private funeral for Liam was held in his hometown of Wolverhampton in Buckinghamshire, and a permanent memorial is being sought.
