Liam Payne’s heartbreaking One Direction reunion revelation before tragic death
Before his death, Liam Payne learned a spooky story about a reunion of One Direction.
The late 31-year-old tragically died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from his balcony in a third-floor hotel room. The star passed away after a series of traumas that resulted in “internal and external hemorrhage.” Prior to his death, Liam had reunited with his former bandmate, Niall Horan, who had been playing a sold out concert in the Latin American city.
However, since Liam’s former bandmates had announced an indefinite hiatus in 2016, which had originally been scheduled to be an 18-month break, he had been hoping for a full reunion. Following the conclusion of their On the Road Again Tour, which ended in October, the band members did not renew any contracts.
The group filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and requested that Companies House remove its touring company. Zayn Malik, 31, famously left the band in 2015 in order to live the life of a “normal 22-year-old”. However, Liam had always hoped that the band would reunite, and earlier this year, there were rumors that it might have been possible.
Liam previously confirmed that the lads had “started a new group chat”, with Niall Horan later confirming: “We’ve had three or four group chats. Some of them have sounded quieter than others. This one is undoubtedly louder than most, and it’s been fantastic. I’m sure I’d see some messages on my phone if I took a look at it in a few minutes.
A resurfaced video of Liam talking about getting the band back together after his death has been shared on social media. He said: “I think we’ll get back together, I think it’s a good idea, yeah, 100 per cent. But, it’s kind of not on me if that makes sense”? In a heartbreaking twist, he added: “I doubt there’ll ever be all five of us again”.
Harry Styles, who won the Grammys, confirmed on The Late Late Show with his pal James Corden that he was willing to make a reunion. He said: “I would never say never to that… If there was a time when we all felt that was what we wanted to do, then I don’t see why we wouldn’t”. Again, Horan echoed Styles ‘ comment and said: “There hasn’t been a conversation, but I’m sure if there ever is one, you’ll know about it.
” I agree with Harry, same thing as he said. Payne’s solo career was successful after One Direction’s dissolution, and his debut single Strip That Down was recognized platinum. Following this, he we went on to collaborate with the likes of Zedd, Rita Ora, J Balvin, Jonas Blue, Lennon Sella and Alesso.
On Thursday morning, Liam’s body was transported back to the UK with his father, Geoff, and former security guard, Paul Higgins, who were with him on his final journey. The group boarded a British Airways flight from Buenos Aires, stopping briefly in Rio de Janeiro, before making their way to London’s Heathrow earlier this morning. Although no details have been made regarding his funeral, it’s believed that the family will make an announcement when it is appropriate about how fans can honor Liam’s life, legacy, and international career as the fifth biggest boyband in the world.
