Kate Cassidy, a famous person, revealed that she texted Liam Payne one last message before his tragic passing.
The former One Direction singer passed away in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the age of 31. Before she made the decision to return to their Miami home while he was away, Kate had been with him there. Just days later, Liam tragically died.
Kate revealed in a new interview that this would be Kate’s final text message. Kate had told Liam: “I can’t wait for you to get home and see the house”. She had decorated their home for Halloween, which was supposed to be a surprise upon Liam’s return.
Kate and their final phone conversation was enjoyable, despite Kate admitting she can’t recall it. Just before she left the country to go home alone, she photographed Liam while he was sitting on a horse. In her new interview, Kate admitted: “He looks so happy”.
Kate and Liam met in September 2022 when she worked as a waitress in Charleston, South Carolina. Liam had planned to take a road trip to the US with his friends at the time, but he had to wait until after midnight to board his flight back to London so he could get to know Kate. The two days they spent together eventually ended in a hotel room, cementing their romance.
Kate acknowledged that Kate had received a heartbreaking text three days after his death in an interview with the Sun. While Liam remained in Argentina, Kate had been sorting Halloween decorations at home and paid a man to fix their lights. Three days after Liam’s passing, he messaged her to ask how he liked his Halloween surprise.
She was struck by Liam’s disbelief just as she realized it was impossible to come back. She confessed to Liam that she never anticipated anything, and that they lived “own separate lives.” Kate also heartbreakingly admitted that she still calls Liam’s phone to hear his voicemail.
Kate used to sleep sound asleep listening to his songs after his passing, but she is now unable to play any of them. She confessed: “Maybe one day, but not right now”. Kate paid emotional tribute to her late boyfriend by sharing a heartfelt Instagram post where she said they had been hoping to improve their relationship. She remarked, “A few weeks ago, we sat outside and manifested our lives together. Even though you instructed me not to look at it, I keep your note a secret.
” It said: ‘ Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444. Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way that we planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel. We’ll be with you wherever I go for the rest of my life and the rest of my life. Forever yours, Katelyn, 444. “
