Kate Cassidy revealed how they met and how they first connected.
The influencer has made a statement for the first time since her 31-year-old boyfriend’s tragic passing last year. Liam died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Kate and the One Direction singer had a dog and shared a home together for a while when they first started dating.
Kate and Liam met in September 2022 when she worked as a waitress in Charleston, South Carolina. Liam had planned to take a road trip to the US with his friends at the time, but he had to wait until after midnight to board his flight back to London so he could get to know Kate. The two days they spent together eventually ended in a hotel room, cementing their romance.
Kate had just come out of college and was considering her future plans. She met Liam and decided she couldn’t work his help because she had a typical 9 to 5 job.
Kate also revealed why she left him in Argentina. She confessed to Liam that she never anticipated anything, and that they lived “own separate lives.” In her interview, Kate spoke about Liam in the present tense before trying to correct herself.
She heartbreakingly admitted to still calling Liam’s phone to hear his voicemail. Kate used to sleep sound asleep listening to his songs after his death, but she is now unable to play any of them. She confessed: “Maybe one day, but not right now”.
Kate told the Sun: “From the moment I met Liam, I genuinely believed we were soulmates, he was the most humble, charming, normal person you could ever hope to come across, and genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. That he won’t be there with me to navigate through this life, that I’ll have to deal with this without him by my side… it’s really hard”.
Kate empathetically expressed her regret to her late boyfriend in a touching social media post following Liam’s passing. She stated that they had hoped to improve their relationship. She remarked, “A few weeks ago, we sat outside and manifested our lives together. Even though you instructed me not to look at it, I keep your note a secret.
” It said: ‘ Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444. Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way that we planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel. We’ll be with you wherever I go for the rest of my life and the rest of my life. Forever yours, Katelyn, 444. “
Kate explained” 444 “is the number of angels. On her Instagram she said:” More often, you will see the number 444 when you are feeling down. Simply put, the number 44 serves as a reminder that you can count on your angels to support you forever. You’ll feel reassured that the angels are watching over you and care about you when you see this number.
