What was Liam Payne’s state of mind when she said her final farewell, Kate Cassidy has revealed.
The influencer is the first to speak out against one another since the tragic passing of the One Direction singer last year. After falling from an Argentine hotel’s third floor, Liam passed away at the age of 31. Although Kate acknowledged that she did not recall their final phone call, they both enjoyed riding horses on their final day together.
Just before she left the country to go home alone, she photographed Liam as he sat on a horse. In her new interview, Kate admitted: “He looks so happy”. When she returned to their Miami, Florida home, she also texted him with her final message. Kate had told Liam: “I can’t wait for you to get home and see the house”.
She decorated their home for Halloween, and it made a point. Kate and Liam met in September 2022 when she worked as a waitress in Charleston, South Carolina. Liam had planned to take a road trip to the US with his friends at the time, but he had to wait until after midnight to board his flight back to London so he could get to know Kate. The two days they spent together eventually ended in a hotel room, cementing their romance.
Kate also revealed why she left him in Argentina. She confessed to Liam that she never anticipated anything, and that they lived “own separate lives.” The influencer also heartbreakingly admitted to still calling Liam’s phone to hear his voicemail.
Kate used to sleep sound asleep listening to his songs after his passing, but she is now unable to play any of them. She confessed: “Maybe one day, but not right now”. Kate told the Sun: “From the moment I met Liam, I genuinely believed we were soulmates, he was the most humble, charming, normal person you could ever hope to come across, and genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life.
” That he won’t be there with me to navigate through this life, that I’ll have to deal with this without him by my side… it’s really hard. Kate paid tribute to her late boyfriend in a sincere post on social media following Liam’s passing. She stated that they had hoped to improve their relationship. We sat outside on a lovely evening, and she remarked, “Our lives came to life together a few weeks ago. Even though you instructed me not to look at it, I keep your note a secret.
“It said: ‘ Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444. Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way that we planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel. We’ll be with you wherever I go for the rest of my life and the rest of my life. Forever yours, Katelyn, 444”.
