Lewis Capaldi’s major comeback revealed as pal confirms he’s making new music

After taking a break to focus on his health in 2023, it is said that singer Lewis Capaldi is about to make a comeback with new music.
Lewis Capaldi is gearing up to make his huge music comeback after taking a step away from the spotlight. The singer’s pal has revealed he is sounding better than ever following his break since 2023.
He emotionally shared his decision to pause his music career to focus on his mental health and manage his Tourette Syndrome. During a performance at Glastonbury, the chart-topper openly discussed his struggles, raising awareness about his condition. After the festival, Lewis announced that he needed to take a break away from his job to focus on himself.
The singer said he needed to rest and recover after a “mentally and physically” challenging few months – cancelling all shows and gigs he had been scheduled to play. Lewis revealed his condition had worsened and he was struggling to control his tics while performing, acknowledging there could come a day when he’d have to quit music because of it.
He has kept a low profile while on his break, yet his mate and fellow musician Yungblud has confirmed his return is on the horizon. While at a playback of his own upcoming album, Yungblud – real name Dominic Harrison – revealed he was inspired by Lewis, who pushed him to record the tracks.
He mentioned Lewis’ return, saying, “I have his new music that sounds great. He is maintaining his mental health. Because we’ve been traveling together, I’m in love with him.
“We experienced it at the same time and he is perhaps the only friend who knows what I am going through, in the same way I know what he’s going through,” he told the Sun. Lewis broke down during his Glastonbury set and asked fans to help him sing along as he confessed his voice had “packed it in”.
Lewis could not contain the emotional impact of the large crowd. He claimed at the sold-out festival that he had only taken a three-week break to “rest and recover,” but that he was struggling with his Tourette’s.
Fans rallied around him and belted out the majority of the lyrics while he paced up and down the Pyramid Stage, and his set ended with an emotionally moving performance of Someone You Love.
He confirmed in a heartbreaking statement that he had been experiencing mental health issues for months and that he had been given an indefinite break shortly after his Glastonbury set. He asserted, “It’s not any easier to write because this probably won’t come as a surprise.”
“I used to enjoy watching every second of these shows, and I hoped that three weeks would help me.” However, I’m still learning how to adjust to the effects of my Tourette’s, and on Saturday it became clear that I need to devote much more time to maintaining both my mental and physical health, Lewis said in a statement posted on social media.
He cancelled the rest of his sold-out tour dates, and put plans of new music on hold as he prioritised his mental wellbeing. Six months later, Lewis delighted fans when he announced an update, and thanked everyone for their support and kind messages as he revealed he had seen a “marked improvement” in his health.
For the time being, I’m going to take some time to reflect on some of my life’s most incredible years, maybe writing some music, and take some time to reflect on myself. Before returning to the stage with the proper permission to do what I love more than anything, I want to make sure I’m 100% sure that I’m 100% before doing so once more for more shows! He continued.
The singer has yet to comment on recent rumours that he’s planning to release new music, with a long-awaited third album in the works. He has been spotted on walks in his native Scotland and last year, broke cover as he attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party.
