Lewis Capaldi enjoys winter walk as ex Paige Turley gives update on his mental health

In London’s Hampstead Heath, Lewis Capaldi was recently spotted out for a winter walk while wearing a warm puffer jacket and joggers.

His decision to halt his musical career in 2023 to concentrate on his mental health and treat his Tourette Syndrome led to this film. During a performance at Glastonbury, Capaldi openly discussed his struggles, raising awareness about his condition.

Lewis made the announcement in June that he needed to concentrate on himself. He announced on June 6, 2023 that he would take time to recover from a “mentally and physically challenging” few months, and that he would cancel all of his shows and gigs over the course of the following three weeks.

Lewis stated in a statement that “I need to take a moment to rest and recover so that I can be at my best and ready for Glastonbury and all the other incredible shows coming up” so that I can continue doing what I love for a long time to come. I need to take these three weeks to relax and be Lewis from Glasgow for a while while also spending time with my family and friends. After leaving for the Glastonbury Festival, Lewis made a second appearance on the Pyramid Stage.

After becoming aware of his diagnosis in September 2022, Lewis has been open about his struggle with Tourette’s syndrome. Lewis acknowledged that there might come a point when he would have to stop playing music because his condition had gotten worse and he was having trouble controlling his tics while performing.

The singer announced in 2023 that he would be taking an “indefinite break” to improve his mental and physical health. “The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier”, he told fans in a statement.

Paige told The Sun that she last saw her ex because we were both out for one of our friends’ birthday parties, and that he is doing much better in himself at the Geordie Shore launch. It was really nice to see him and he’s doing well – I don’t know if he’s writing, but he’s doing much better in himself”.

She added: “I obviously grew up with him so to see him in a low place has been difficult. He has been under a lot of pressure as a global superstar, which makes it difficult, in my opinion. But I’ll say that he really seems to be doing much better right now.

Lewis Capaldi and Paige Turley started dating before splitting up while they were still students in college. Their split was reportedly due to Turley’s infidelity with one of Capaldi’s close friends. Capaldi’s hit song “Someone You Loved” was widely believed to be about Turley. However, he clarified that the song was actually inspired by his late grandmother.

Despite their breakup, Turley has expressed support for Capaldi’s well-being. She mentioned that he appeared to be much better after meeting with her at a friend’s birthday party a few months ago.
