United Rugby Championship round 12
Connacht (3) 15
Tries: Murphy, Jansen Con: Gilbert Pen: Gilbert
Glasgow (0) 10
Glasgow Warriors missed out on the chance to extend their lead at the top of the United Rugby Championship table as Sean Jansen’s last-gasp try lifted Connacht to a dramatic victory at Dexcom Stadium.
The Scottish side had hoped to widen the cushion at the summit following second-placed Leinster’s defeat by Cardiff on Friday, but instead fell to their first loss in 10 games.
After two second-half tries from Scotland wing Kyle Rowe, the Irish province snatched a much-needed win when Jansen crashed over the line with the final play of the match.

A low-scoring first half, which featured periods of intense pressure from both sides, yielded just one score with Sam Gilbert’s penalty enough to give Connacht a slender advantage at the break.
But after Connacht second row Joe Joyce was shown a yellow card for a high tackle on Ben Afshar, Rowe scored the game’s opening try on the hour mark.
In windy conditions, however, Adam Hastings missed the conversion before Gilbert missed a penalty to put Connacht 6-5 up.
With Joyce still off the field, Rowe provided the moment of the match when he collected a crossfield kick from Dan Lancaster – the son of Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster – and beat Jack Carty and Finn Treacy to score.
