JJ Redick, the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, described the “devastation and destruction” of losing his home during the wildfires.
More than 10,000 homes and other structures have been destroyed, according to estimates, and at least 11 people have died as a result of the fires.
Redick’s home in the Pacific Palisades area, which has suffered the most destructive fire in LA history, burned down on Tuesday.
“The majority of the village is gone,” I said. It’s complete devastation and destruction”, he said.
