For the first time in a while, Kim Kardashian’s real hair has appeared and it appears that her tresses have suffered permanent damage from constant bleach, bleach, and heat.
The 44-year-old mother-of-four showed off her real hair in unanticipated scenes on her family show, The Kardashians, on Thursday, leaving reality TV viewers shocked. Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, who are both at breakfast, made the shocking hair reveal.
Kim decided to remove her wig and cap while the family was celebrating Kourtney’s birthday at IHOP, which was frayed and bleached blonde. The reality TV star’s split ends were revealed to Kim with her locks slicked back into a low bun.
Just a few weeks prior to Kim dyed her hair platinum blonde for the Met Gala back in May, the most recent episode of the popular reality TV show was shot. Kim was concerned that her natural hair might fall out because of the harshness of the dye and the harm it might have, but she was determined to look her best at the prestigious awards.
Kim is asked about her Met Gala appearance in scenes where fans are clamoring to watch her before telling her sisters that she is concerned about fitting into her dress while eating breakfast for Kourtney’s birthday. Kim then admits that Kim is trying her hardest to protect her natural hair ahead of the Met Gala and keep her new hairstyle a secret. She also admits that the hair underneath her hat is actually a wig.
“This is a wig”, said Kim. “My hair is blonde”. The reality TV star then revealed her bright blonde hair while explaining, “I’m going to have my hair done for the Met.” I’ll keep you guys guessing this season because I once had brown hair and now I have blonde hair.
After watching Kim’s real hair reveal, fans of the show flocked to X to share their thoughts. Kim Kardashian’s natural hair shows that as women, we must look after what we have been given and not tarnish our natural beauty with artificial products. Her hair is literally burnt off”, one complained.
“Omg Kim’s real hair looks like mine after a terrible hair-dye job. What the heck”, another quipped. While another person echoed the statement, “My 2025 bingo card was not Nah Kim Kardashian showing off her hideous natural hair on global TV. She’s just like the rest of us”.
Kim strutted the red carpet in a silver Maison Margiela gown for her Met Gala debut.
