Khloé Kardashian thanked the LA firefighters for their assistance.
Fires are continuing to tear across parts of Los Angeles, threatening areas included Calabasas, Hidden Hills and Montecito. So far, 16 people have died in the California wildfires, with a further 16 people currently missing. Additionally, more than 10, 000 homes have been destroyed, with multiple people displaced as they were forced to evacuate ahead of the worsening fires.
Kim Kardashian, her family, Kourtney, Rob, Kris Jenner, Kyle Jenner, and Kendall were forced to leave their homes last week, according to the Mirror’s report. Khloé has been very vocal about assisting those who are battling the fires and those who have been displaced as a result of the disaster over the past few days.
With her 304 million followers, the businesswoman has since shared yet another message of support for those funding the ongoing efforts. She said: “Dear Firefighters, volunteers, First Responders, and Frontline workers, Thank you for your unwavering courage and dedication in the face of these devastating fires. Your tireless efforts to protect lives, homes, and communities do not go unnoticed.

” We are deeply grateful for your bravery, compassion, and commitment to attempting to keeping Californians safe. Please be aware that everyone who works for you truly appreciates it. As you continue to serve, I ask for your safety and strength. May God grant you protection and peace during this difficult time while He is watching over you and your loved ones.
It comes after her sister, Kim, was criticized by The Oaks authorities for using 232, 000 gallons of water in excess of what she had been given after local authorities implemented strict controls in 2022. Kim has taken special precautions to prevent water from being used to water the gardens that surround her enormous mansion.
” These celebrities have a sense of entitlement, “a source told the Mail. They continued, “Everyone was instructed to cut back on water just for this situation, to preserve it to fight fires,” adding: “. Because they could afford the fines, they continued to water. “Despite this, Kim has spoken out, demanding that firefighters receive higher wages.

In a lengthy statement, she said:” I have spent the last week watching my city burning. and have spoken to numerous firefighters who use every ounce of their force to save our community night after night. For everything you are doing to save lives, homes, and property, I thank @calfire LA County Fire and Los Angeles City Fire. On all 5 fires in Los Angeles, there are hundreds of incarcerated firefighters, risking their lives to save us. They work 24 hour shifts on the Palisades fire and the Eaton fire in Pasadena.
“They get paid almost nothing, risk their lives, some have died, to prove to the community that they have changed and are now first responders. I see them as heroes”. Over 1, 000 inmates, according to legend, are assisting in the battle against the LA fires while wearing orange jumpsuits as they assist the Cal Fire employees.
The firefighters in prison have received a salary of $1 per hour to risk their lives, a pay that hasn’t changed since 1984. It has never been raised with inflation. It’s never been raised when fires got worse and many died”, she added. Kim continued, “This year there was an agreement to raise the incarcerated firefighters’ pay to $5/hour, but it was canceled last minute. She has used her platform and law school career to fight for justice.” No Governor has done this in 4 decades, so I urge @cagovernor to raise the pay for incarcerated firefighters to honor a human being who risked their lives to save ours and our homes.
