Kerry Katona counts down to facelift and sends defiant six-word message to haters

In her exclusive OK!, Kerry Katona has revealed herself. column about her upcoming facelift. The former Atomic Kitten revealed that she is looking forward to a whole new look thanks to a procedure performed by her London surgeon. She acknowledged that she has been struggling recently as a result of her split from fiance Ryan Mahoney.

“I had my lower facelift consultation last week at Pall Mall Medical, which went really well”, she said enthusiastically. “I’m very excited about it and believe I have the skills to do revisions if I choose to.”

She also had some stern words for anyone that might want to criticise her choice to go under the knife, saying: “I know people can be judgemental, but at the end of the day it’s my face and my body so it’s not really anyone else’s business. I trust my doctor, Dr Raghavan, completely and would never go anywhere else. I can’t wait to see the results”!

The mother-of-five revealed last September that she was planning a makeover after performing during the holiday season in panto at Northwich Memorial Court, near Chester, with her best friend Katie Price as Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters.

She claimed at the time that Katie, who has had six facial procedures to date, was the one who inspired her to get involved: “I’m so excited to be heading to Pall Mall Medical for a consultation for a lower facelift! It has inspired me to do the same after seeing Katie Price and how amazing she looks now that she has had her facelift, Kerry said.

The 44-year-old added: “I’ve really been noticing the skin around my neck recently and I just want everything lifted”. Admitting there is an element of fear, she added, “Don’t get me wrong, I’m s*****g myself to do it, but I always get like that with procedures – I know it will be worth it”.

On her friend’s help, the star – who has also had four boob jobs – continued: “Katie is going to come to stay with me when I get it done for moral support, which I really appreciate. She has already undergone the procedure, so she can help me through my anxiety and nerves while also helping me recover.

Kerry and Katie spent a significant portion of the holiday season together, with Katie by Kerry’s side after her heartbreaking break, and they were recently seen out on the town together. They became close friends when Katie and Kerry first appeared on the third season of I’m A Celebrity.
