Kelsey Parker says Tom told her to date via a psychic as she shares big relationship update

Kelsey Parker, the widowed woman who recently found a new love, made the announcement to fans last year that he had moved in with her.

Kelsey’s husband, The Wanted singer Tom Parker, died in March 2022 of brain cancer when he was just 33 years old. He and Kelsey had been together since 2009 and had two children together, Aurelia, who is now five, and four year old Bodhi. She originally shared that she had a new partner, tree surgeon Will Lindsay, last year, and in an interview with The Sun she has now spoken about her relationship.

She continued, “I’m just trying to move forward and live my life,” adding that her main concern was their children and what their late husband would want for them. She revealed that she had never really dated anyone else and was nervous about starting one since she had known Tom since she was 19 years old.

She claimed that she met Will on a night out, and that she wanted to make sure she received Tom’s family’s approval before starting a relationship. Kelsey also believes she has Tom’s blessing, too, after meeting with spiritualists following his death. “I’m quite spiritual. I had been seeing spiritual people who told me that Tom was coming through, saying: ‘ Get the wedding ring off as you’re blocking yourself, you need to move forward and meet someone, ‘” she said.

She met Will after briefly dating electrician Sean Boggans, who was very close to her children when he was 21 and who has since lost their father. Will and Kelly have talked about having children together, and Kelly claims to agree with her.

“Will not care about getting married or anything like that,” But he hasn’t got children so he would like kids. I believe that might be in our future. Because I wanted four, Tom and I discussed having more children. When he was first diagnosed, I wanted him to go and freeze his sperm, but he wouldn’t. She said, “I really wanted him to because I really thought he was going to improve.”

Kelsey spoke with OK before. about having a public conversation with Will and the nerves she possessed prior to doing so. Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards in October, Kelsey said: “I’m very happy. Everyone has been so encouraging, which is lovely and wonderful. I was afraid to share it because, as you know, it’s such a big thing. I was thinking, ‘ Am I going to get trolled? ‘ but the support and love has been absolutely incredible”.

Speaking about Will on an episode of her podcast Mum’s The Word, which she co-hosts with Georgia Jones, Kelsey said: “Will is used to us as a family now. He brings a different kind of happiness into our home. Obviously, when it was the three of us we were happy, but now he’s bringing that something else in”.
